Harvey Schmidt and Mary Martin in Brazil

Because Mary Martin wanted to rest at her ranch “Nossa Fazenda” in the state of Gois, Brazil, following the world tour of “Hello Dolly”, she had arranged in the contract of her next show, “I Do! I Do!”, that the producer David Merrick would fly the composer down to teach her the score there in Brazil.
